#155 Tip-to-Tip Blending

In this video I will share with you a blending technique that is incredibly helpful when you are limited to only a few Stampin’ Blends. By simply touching the tip of one marker to another, you can create a new colour. And don’t worry – this will not harm your markers.

Tips & Tricks to Note

  • “Tip-to-Tip Blending” is a quick way to create an in-between shade for blending when you have two colours that are not close together. It’s also a great way to add touches of a third, unusual colour to an image.
  • I uses the “Three-Shade Blending – a technique from Blending Basics of class to colour my image. I saturate the image with my lightest shade (Balmy Blue), adds shading using (Night of Navy) around the edges, and then creates her medium shade using “Tip-to-Tip Blending” to finish the blending.
