#103 A Happy Birthday To You

For this card I combined both regular stamping with dye-based inks as well as some watercolouring, which I used to add shading to my images.

Essentially, I stamped my images onto watercolour paper using my Classic inks, I then smoothed out the colour with a water painter, and added shading with a darker (yet still tone-on-tone) ink colour. A super easy technique which allows you to give your solid image stamps more visual depth.
