#95 Simple Free Hand Painting
In this video I share with you an idea how to “freehand paint”… with a little help from a friend. 🙂 Yep! I die cut a butterfly guide to help with my freehand painting. And by adding lots of shading, I still managed a freehand look. This is a great technique for someone who wants to slowly stick their toe in the freehand painting water.

Tips & Tricks to Note
- By using watercolour pencils to trace and create a base layer of colour for your painting, you will create a richer, more vibrant watercolour look.
- Here’s a wonderful colour-blending cheat! Imagine there is a smaller image inside your larger one, and carefully outline it using a watercolour pencil. Watercolour the area around the small image, and then watercolour the small image itself. Blend outward and you’re done!
