#97 Watercolour Ombre Background
Watercolour is a big trend now, as is ombré. Mixing these two ultra-trendy techniques makes for a very stylish and classy look. This lesson is all about creating a really easy ombré look using Stampin’ Up! Classic Ink Pads, these work great for this fun technique! Crafters of all ability levels will be able to add this technique to their crafty arsenal.

Tips & Tricks to Note
- Adding a little water to your craft mat before adding the watercolour cardstock on top will help stop the card curling when drying.
- Don’t worry about adding too much or too little colour- too little, just add some more or not much, add a little water. Just play around with it, until your happy and have fun!
- Use baby powder or an anti-static tool on vellum before stamping and heat embossing to stop the powder sticking where it shouldn’t.
- Simple styling works well on a ombré background like this, you don’t want to take too much attention away from it..
