#100 Watercolour With Ink Refills
If you’re anything like me you love finding new ways to stretch your supplies and use them for multiple different techniques. I love getting my money’s worth and Ink-Refills are great for that! Today we’ll dive into one of my favourite ways to use these refills and create a fun and colourful galaxy that’s pretty enough to frame!

Tips & Tricks to Note
- If you don’t have ink refills, try using your ink pads to add colour to the acetate sheet.
- Be sure to use colours that will blend well together. Stay away from two colours that will make brown when mixed.
- If you don’t have a piece of acetate handy, use the plastic sheet that comes off of the back of a stamp set. You can easily wipe it down and return it to the stamp set after use. No staining!
- The more water you use, the more movement you’ll get. If you’re not satisfied with the way your piece looks, add more water to the same acetate sheet and reapply it to the watercolour paper.
- Adding white craft ink flicks makes for great stars and instantly brings your galaxy to life.
